How do we get started?
Click right here to get in touch. Feel free to send an email, text, or give us a phone call. We'll set up a free 10-15 minute consultation to get an idea of your concerns and see if Everwell Therapies would be a good fit. If so, we'll set up an evaluation to discuss your concerns in depth, get some background, and do some observations. From there, we'll decide on a plan for onging therapy if necessary, discuss goals, and schedule our first visit.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, Everwell Therapies is a private pay provider, meaning we do not bill your insurance and are considered an "out of network" provider. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to determine what percentage of the cost is covered for out-of-network therapy. Most insurance plans cover speech therapy services. We are more than happy to provide a superbill, or an itemized bill, upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We cannot promise any or all of the cost of services will be reimbursed by your insurance provider. We can accept HSA and FSA cards.
What do services include?
Evaluations:
Feeding Evaluations are approximately 90 minutes
Feeding evaluations include: preparation of materials, background/medical history collection, naturalistic observation, and a comprehensive report of informal and formal assessments // Support and strategies will be given to address current most urgent need. If ongoing support is needed after initial evaluation, ongoing therapy services are available.
Speech/Language Evaluations are approximately 90 minutes
Speech and/or language evaluations include: preparation of materials, background/medical history collection, naturalistic observation, and a comprehensive report of informal and formal assessments. Additionally, if deemed necessary, we will discuss and align goals to address in therapy visits and provide an approximate duration of services (if applicable).
Therapy Visits:
Therapy visits range in time and can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes, dependent on the treatment area and your child's age.
Therapy visits include: preparation of materials, coaching/therapy time, and comprehensive documentation

Therapy visits can take place via Telehealth or in-person dependent on location.​
How will I pay?
We use a secure payment system and will have a card on file, which we will document at the time of evaluation. We accept payment directly prior to the appointment or directly following. We will always provide receipt of payment to you. We will discard all stored payment information after services are complete. We do accept HSA and FSA cards in addition to all regular credit and debit cards.
For our Registry and Solids Chats, we do accept advance payment if you are purchasing the Chat as a gift.
Where will evaluations and therapy take place?
- Telehealth evaluations and therapy visits are available via secure Telehealth platform for all of Washington state
- In-home evaluations and therapy are available dependent on your location. Some areas we serve in-person are Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Silver Firs, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Monroe, Redmond, Woodinville, Bellevue and Kirkland, plus many others.
- Please contact us to see if ongoing in-home services are available in your area.
-Either way, no need to travel! We love providing services in the comfort of your own home for the most authentic picture of how your everyday life looks and how therapy can fit in.
-Telehealth services will soon be available in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and many others.
- Non-therapeutic, Zoom parent consultations (The Feeding Registry Chat, The Starting Solids Chat, The Curiosity Chat) are available to anyone in the country.
What are the benefits of Telehealth therapy?
Recent research has shown that Telehealth therapy visits are as effective as in-person visits. Telehealth therapy allows for scheduling flexibility and reduced cancellations due to minor illness and weather. It is also especially helpful given our parent-coaching model; Telehealth allows us to emulate realistic everyday child and caregiver mealtimes and interactions.
What will ongoing therapy frequency be?
Recommendations regarding the frequency of visits will be made following the evaluation. Typically, feeding, speech, and language therapy are recommended once or twice weekly, sometimes biweekly. The duration of feeding or speech therapy is largely dependent on the individual child, however, a family can choose to discontinue therapy at any time with advance notice of at least 1 month.
What is your cancellation policy?
We know our families have busy lives, kids get sick, and scheduling conflicts come up. We completely understand that you may need to cancel last minute. Per our cancellation policy, we ask for a 24-hour notice. Cancellations made without at least 24-hour notice, or no-shows, will be charged a full session fee. If last-minute cancellations happen repeatedly we will work with you to determine if another therapy time is a better fit.
Do you require an evaluation to begin therapy?
Yes. An evaluation helps us get to know you and your family and provides us with pertinent background that can aid in the development of goals and therapy strategies. We do not require a physician's referral to do an evaluation or begin therapy.
